Stained Glass Art
STANTON STAINED GLASS Artist Paul Woodhead has developed a style and application for stained
glass which is suitable for window display and secondary glazing in modern or traditional homes and public buildings.
This stained glass, which is normally expensive, creates a magical and vibrant light.
In a modern medium, without expensive lead, distinctive stained glass is achieved which is relatively light in weight and
very strong for internal use only.
English, French and American stained glass is used some of which is very old.
Artist Paul Woodhead achieved a considerable success with stained pottery but now explores the wonderful effect of stained
glass.
This wonderful classic Gothic Cathedral (one of Portugal's best) has minimal stained glass.
With Portugal's excellent brilliant light and a south facing facade I have designed, and will undertake to make, a window
which represents a Christian Cross which also bears testimony to England's long standing friendship with Portugal.
The window which is relatively light in weight can be applied using a simple inexpensive technique with minimum intrusion
into fabric of building stone.
